AddPac AP-SMCU software video MCU provides high performance 1:N multipoint
video conference service. Designed on the foundation of linux server based high

wide range of transcoding coverage from voice band G.711, G.726, G.729,

AP-SMCU Soft Multiparty MCU supports various video display layout functions (31
types), dynamic control function, floor function, name display function,
boarder display function, etc. The video display layout function is divided as
symmetric picture size, asymmetric picture size. According to video conference
room size(number of conference participant, for example, 64 party room), AP-SMCU
provides the various video display layouts. Administrator can select to a video
display layout among the multiple video display layouts via AP-SMCU manager
program. When a new video conference is started, users can choice a specific
video layout automatically or manually. Dynamic control function is used when
video display layout is changed dynamically or conference participant is move
out/in during video conferencing.
Seamless
Interoperability: Supporting Diverse Concurrent Codec& Protocol
AP-SMCU supports diverse video codecs concurrently which is ordinarily being
used on IP end-point terminals. It supports mixed IP video calls to enable the
powerful mixing/transcoding capabilities among diverse video codecs
simultaneously providing the optimal audio experience. AP-SMCUsupports the
multiple video conferencing sessions and multiple video(H.263, MPEG4, H.264)
and audio codecs(G.722.1, G.722, G.711, G.726,etc) per a session. Also AP-SMCU supports
the SIP, H.323 protocols for VoIP signaling. For SIP based VoIP signaling, AP-SMCU
