IPNext180PTT PTT Server Built-In IP-PBX Release for Small & Medium Enterprise RoIP Service













IPNext180PTT is a next-generation Hybrid IP-PBX system for interworking with PSTN interface and various IP terminals of AddPac (AP-IP300 IP Phone, AP-IP120 IP Phone, etc)) to provide PTT(Push-to-Talk) server function as well as multimedia IP telephony services. Hybrid IP-PBX IPNext350 New Product Release : Up to 256 Port Analog Interface Support







AddPac Technology recently released a next generation hybrid IP-PBX system IPNext350 which support 256 ports analog phones/PSTN interface as well as IP (voice/video) terminal. It also supports IVR feature, RTP proxy feature, user presence feature, UMS (Unified Messaging Server) feature, media service (ring back tone, music on hold, announcement) feature and UC (unified communication). 
AddPac IPNext350 Hybrid IP-PBX system consists of one(1) CPU module slot for system control and eight(8) VoIP module slots in front side. IPNext190 is a next-generation IP Keyphone System and a new IP telephony solution for all IP environments. RTP Proxy Service Features for Private IP and IPv6 Address

Since the enterprise network environments configured with a Call Manager like as IP keyphone system and IP terminals require larger number IP address, either IPv6 or a private IP address in the NAT environment must be supported to the enterprise networks due to the deficient resources of a public IP address. In such a private IP address environment, the RTP proxy feature is required for reliable multimedia communications between endpoint terminals. The RTP proxy feature of IPNext190 is used to make a communication between a private IP terminal and a public IP terminal among endpoint terminals such as IP phones, make a communication between a private IP terminal and a public IP terminal in the NAT environment, make a communication between private IP terminals, make audio/video broadcasting in private and public IP environments, and to enable audio/video conference calls in private and public IP environments. The RTP proxy feature can operate regardless of VoIP signaling protocols such as H.323 and SIP, and supports dual address systems such as IP version 4 and IP version 6 addresses.

User Presence Service for Unified Communication

In order to support user presence features on real-time basis, such as user busy, on-line, user away, etc, user presence service function should be provided on IP telephony solution. User presence service function in a Call Manager gathers user information (on-line, busy, etc) of each IP terminals, and broadcasts user information to all or group IP terminals with speed-dial keys (built-in presence indication lamp) , AP-PT100 User Presence dedicate terminal, Smart Messenger Program at every second.

Built-in Network based Media Service 

AddPac Technology’s IPNext190 supports network based media service. Together used with IP terminals, Video Terminals, VoIP gateways, IPNext190 supports various media service like as Announcement, Ring Back Tone Service, and Music on Hold. IPNext190 supports the G.711PCM, G.729 voice codec basically. New coming and end enhanced voice and video codec (for example, MPEG4 video codec, etc) will be added to service profile list according to user requirement and service environment. IPNext190 provide the scheme to enroll personal or group media service file, for example, ring back tone service, to IPNext190. Smart Window

Smart Window helps to setup various private information of IP-PBX registered users using web in multimedia telephony solution. Smart Window provides user information, alarm, search, call forwarding, speed dial, and conference related feature. Enter the login and password to start Smart Window server. The basic configuration screen of Smart Window is composed of menu, contents, and help.

User Information Feature

User information feature let you edit the basic information of user, and messenger online ID. Personal information let user to setup password, phone number, cell phone, email, and voice mail password. Also, it provides Smart Messenger online ID setup feature.

Use search function to search the registered user easily. You may select ID, name, and extension number as keyword type. Search result will display the matching register in keyword. It displays name, ID, email and extension number. It also provides search result restriction feature as well as search result view feature.

It is a function to forward the incoming call to terminal, voice message box or to leave a message. It also provides call forwarding activation, call forwarding detail setup feature. Smart Billing System is a Linux based system to perform efficient communication costs (billing) for enterprise in next generation IP telephony solution.

AddPac Smart Billing System is composed of Linux based server and web based client software. It supports tariff management, billing policy management, access level management, system performance management, and billing database backup management.

Embedded Network Unified Messaging System

AP-UMS1000 is a leading-edge network equipment where the high performance CPU module designed and developed by AddPac is combined with embedded OS and hardware to provide IP-based media services. An advanced embedded RISC processor and a reliable embedded OS that support Gigabit Ethernet are used for this product to ensure better performance and efficiency. AP-UMS1000 provides Dual (2) Redundancy RAID1 IDE-type 3.5-inch HDD modules. A HDD module of AP-UMS1000 supports the push-button type Hot-Swap feature to support Hard Disk module change in service.

IP based Voice/Video Mailing Service 

AP-UMS1000 unified messaging server together with AddPac Technology’s IP Telephony Solution can be used for network based unified messaging service like as IP phone voice mailing service, video mailing service for IP video phone, E-mail notification, and web based Mailbox browsing service, etc. Basically, this system supports SIP VoIP signaling and IVR scenario managing tool for voice/video message recording/retrieval. Using VXML based IVR scenario editor software (AddPac Technology provided), user can make new IVR scenario and edit the pre-existed IVR scenario for new service addition, service modification, etc. AP-UMS1000 supports memory (HDD, etc) Quota functions for each user’s voice/video mailbox, etc and e-mail notification function via internet. On business travel, user can monitor IP phone or video phone’s leaving message in office via internet e-mail check and using MS window media player software. Also, user can play voice/video message under various environments such as PSTN phone via VoIP gateway, E-mail, Web, Smart Messenger (AddPac) in addition to IP terminals (IP phone, IP video phone).

Firmware Upgradeable System Architecture 

Since the high-performance RISC processor modules installed into AP-UMS1000 are all programmable, the features of AP-UMS1000 can continue to be improved, changed, or added. You can flexibly adapt to future technology evolution. If you download an added or changed feature from the home page directly or set an automatic upgrade option whenever feature addition or change is done, you can use the latest feature without further operations.

USB Interface Supported (For Secondary Memory Backup)

The front panel of AP-UMS1000 has the USB 2.0 master mode interface. This interface supports USB DVD/CD Reader/Writer, USB Flash memory, USB hard disks, USB keyboards, and USB mouse. You can connect several USB devices to one another by connecting this interface to the USB hub. A separate power supply device should be used for a USB device that requires much power consumption. A DVR application uses the USB DVD storage device to back up video data of the hard disk in DVD.

Various Network Features and Advanced QoS Feature

AP-UMS1000 supports the latest features and advanced services ranging from the ones (e.g. a variety of network protocols, better Quality of Service (QoS), and the error concealment technology) specialized for an environment for video communication services to the Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) service for preventing a failure and load balancing. Accordingly, AP-UMS1000 can address various issues that may occur depending on network environments. 

Transcoding Module for supporting Multi-Voice Codec (Option)

AP-UMS1000 IP unified messaging system provides voice transcoding (for example, G.711 → G.723.1, G.711 → G.729, etc) service for high quality voice mailing service using high performance DSPs. To solve the codec mismatching problem under IP telephony environments between message leaving IP terminal and retrieval IP terminal, voice transcoding service is necessary. For example, IP phone records voice mail into unified messaging system using voice codec like as G.729, voice transcoding service is used when user want to play the voice mail using soft phone that only supports G.711 voice codec. To support low bit rate voice codec such as G.723.1, G.729, AP-UMS1000 IP unified messaging system provides the Voice Transcoding H/W module optionally. A Voice Transcoding Hardware Module supports maximum 60 channel concurrent Voice Transcoding. Accordingly, AP-UMS1000 can address various issues that may occur depending on network environments.

AP-PS2000 Call Manager Lite



As Presence Server AP-PS2000 interoperates with AddPac IP-PBX products, which are based on its next generation multi-media IP telephony solution, it can provide user presence indication information to Smart Messenger or IP phone (AP-IP300, etc) with presence indication lamp keys.
Smart Messenger based on MS-Window program supports all different kinds of services such as Messenger Service, Telephone Directory, User’s presence, Unified Massage (Voice Mail, Short Message), Call Control and Forward Setup functions. Smart Messenger can be operated by AddPac Technology’s proprietary protocol called Smart Service Control Protocol (SSCP), which is managed between AddPac’s IP PBX and IP Terminal like as Video Phone, IP Phone, etc.
In order to support user presence features on real-time basis, such as user busy, on-line, user away, etc, user presence server function should be provided on IP telephony solution. User Presence Server function gathers user information (on-line, busy, etc) of each IP terminals from IP-PBX, and broadcasts user information to all or group IP terminals with speed-dial keys (built-in presence indication lamp) , Smart Messenger Program at every second.
For enterprise with small employee, small capacity IP-PBX (IPNext 100, IPNext150, etc) supports the presence server function beside call manager function. But, in case of large enterprise, external AP-PS2000 Presence Server should be used with IP-PBX due to performance issue independently.
