AP-GTR2500GD GPS NTP Server GPS Card Solution Demo Youtube :
The AddPac GPS NTP server supports three types of GPS modules: AP-GPSR2, AP-GPSR1-RS485, and AP-GPSR1-IRIGB.
1. AP-GPSR2 Card
The AP-GPSR2 GPS hardware module is equipped as standard. It is available in a modular type, allowing for easy maintenance and troubleshooting in the future. Additionally, it provides flexibility for upgrading the performance of the GPS receiver hardware chip. The AP-GPSR2 board supports one GPS antenna input port and two RS232C interface ports. The RS232C interface ports support the NEMA protocol, which is necessary for receiving GPS-related information from external servers.
2. AP-GPSR1-RS485 Card
Hardware Block Diagram
The AP-GPSR1-RS485 GPS hardware module is available as an option. Like the AP-GPSR2, it is provided in a modular type for easy maintenance and troubleshooting. It also allows for flexible upgrades to the GPS receiver hardware chip's performance. The AP-GPSR1-RS485 board features one GPS antenna input port, one RS232C/RS422 interface port, and an RS485 port to support slave clock functionality. The RS232C interface port supports the NEMA protocol for receiving GPS-related information from external servers. The RS485 interface supports up to four simultaneous RS485 interfaces for slave clock support, with a maximum of 31 slave connections per RS485 interface, allowing for a total of 124 slave clocks (4 x 31) to be supported.
3.AP-GPSR1-IRIGB Card
