In addition to basic IP telephone exchange functions such as user presence board features, call routing, and directory search, it offers a variety of services, including messenger service functionality, directory features, unified messaging capabilities (voice mail, short messages), remote broadcasting, alarm registration and handling, and customizable user presence board backgrounds (MAP) Editor.
The Smart Attendant Console operates on an MS Windows-based PC platform environment, utilizing AddPac IP-PBX and IP terminals via AddPac proprietary protocol, SSCP (Smart Service Control Protocol). To provide essential real-time call status features such as user presence, a presence server is integrated with the IP-PBX. The presence server can operate on the same hardware platform as the IP-PBX or on a separate hardware platform.
